Services for Ferdinand Schmitz, who was found dead on the sidewalk in front of 410 Saratoga street, Newport, early Thursday, will be held at the Muhlenkamp Costigan and Roll funeral home at 10 am, Saturday, followed by burial in St Stephen Cemetery.
Mr. Schmitz, 48, was a World War veteran. Dr. August Helmbold, Campbell county coroner, attributed the death to a heart attack. He leaves a brother, Harry W Schmitz and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Schack and Mrs. Minnie Motz.
