Ferdinand Imfeld

Ferdinand Imfeld, 89 years old, a veteran of the Civil War and a
resident of Newport for more than half a century, died yesterday at his home,
941 Columbia street. He is survived by four sons, Fred, Edward, Harry and Adolph
Imfeld, the last named having served as Deputy Sheriff under Joseph Dietz and
Boone Gosney.
He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 pm Friday afternoon at the residence.
