NEWPORT
The funeral of Mrs. Captain John Newton took place yesterday
afternoon from the family residence, on Southgate street. Rev Viefs, pastor of
the York Street Congregational Church, conducted the services.
The interment was in Spring Grove Cemetery and the pall bearers were Messrs. Charles Craig, John Holland, D M Mills and George B Horner.
