MENTOR KY-On May 30 the friends and relatives of Mrs. Evaline Bartlow gathered at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emma Sprague, and gave her a dinner in honor of her eighty-seventh birthday. Mrs. Bartlow has viewed Halleys comet twice in her lifetime and there were present five generations of the family.
Among those present were: Mrs. James Hoop, Ed Hoop and family, Henry Dameron and family, Athol Dameron and family, Leona Brown, Will Keys, Mrs. Eugene William and son, of Newport Ky. Mrs. H A Otten and sons of Bellevue, Ky; Albert Bartlow, Fannie Bartlow, Rev Redmond and Mrs. John Stevens of Carthage; Sallie Tarvin of Flagg Springs; Will Herndon, wife and daughter; Jack Flora and wife of California Ky. C B Kinney and wie, Thomas Bartlow and family, Mrs. Anna Potts, Gus Potts, Lucy and Violet Creekbaum; Mrs. Edith Cameron and Taylor Sprague and family.
Alvie Bartlow and daughter spent Sunday with T E Barlow and family.

One of Campbell co. oldest residents passed away yesterday when Mrs. Adeline Bartlow, 90, of Carthage Ky. died on the farm where she was born. Mrs. Bartlow lived to see her four sons and four daughters married and also attend the marriages of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eight children, 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren survive her.
The body will be interred in the private buryin ground on the farm where the aged woman was born and spent her life. Several of her children reside in Newport.

The funeral of Mrs. Adeline Bartlow was held this morning from the home in Carthage Ky. in which she lived the entire 90 years of her life. Rev Alber Nelson of the M E Church, conducted the services. Mrs. Bartlow was one of the oldest citizens of Campbell co.

The will of Evaline Bartlow was probated in the County Court at Alexandria yesterday. The entire estate is left to her son, Frank Bartlow, who qualified as executor.
