NEWPORT
Miss Eva Case, the school teacher, while on her way to church
yesterday morning, was run over by a bicyclist. She was crossing her street,
near the post office when the machine collided with her and threw her violently
on her face to the ground.
The rider upon regaining his seat, kept on toward Cincinnati, without proffering aid or apology. Miss Case was assisted to her feet and fortunately was not seriously injured. If the dude had been caught he would have fared badly with the crowd which witnessed the occurrence.
