The parents of Eugene J Hoh, 26, of 905 Third av. Dayton, received a telegram Thursday, stating that he was drowned in Cuban waters.
Hoh was a second class fireman in the US Navy and was stationed at Caimenera, Cuba. The body will be brought back to Dayton for burial.
