thought, justified him in holding Dave McAdams over to the Grand Jury and
McAdams jailed without bail. Ella Scott, the girl held as an accessory was

Dr. William Johnson, the attending physician, testified that the girl died from asphyxia. When he called on his first visit Miss Smith told him that she was grabbed by a man at the railroad bridge pier, who choked her and tried to force her to submit to his desires. Her tongue was swollen and congested. She did not charge any particular person with the crime but said that the man had been arrested.
