Newport Ky Feb 19-An old and well known citizen, Capt. Ervin Crail, died at his home in this city Monday afternoon, at the age of 73 years. Mr. Crail some time ago followed the river and was well known to river men, but latterly engaged in the coal business in this city.
The deceased leaves three children, Mrs. J C Barlow of Streator, Ill; W B Crail of Newport and Mrs. Hiram G Smith of Newport. His son, Captain Walter B Crail is a well known coal man.
