Ernest Schriber (Schreiber) an inmate of the Soldiers Home and a veteran of the Civil War died at the home Monday. The body was brought to Newport where services were held at his brother’s home, 411 Hodge st. Newport, today at 2 pm.

The burial was at Evergreen Cemetery.
