FORMER NEWPORT STORE OWNER DIES
Requiem High Mass will be sung Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Stephen Church for Mrs. Emma Widrig, following short services as 8:30 a.m. at the William C. Betz Sons’ funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Mrs. Widrig, 65, died late yesterday at General Hospital, Cincinnati.
Prior to the death of her husband, J. A. Widrig, three years ago, the couple had operated a delicatessen in Newport for 30 years. Since her husband’s death Mrs. Widrig had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Rose Wenger, 3466 Colerain avenue, Cincinnati.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Widrig leaves three brothers and two sisters.
