A pretty wedding took place Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm at St Paul Protestant Evangelical Church of Newport, the contracting parties being John Hieber, of Newport and Miss Emma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry P Hohmaister, also of this city.
The attendants were Henry P Hohmaister, brother of the bride, and Miss Matilda Hieber, sister of the groom. The pastor, Rev Carl Schaeffer, performed the ceremony which was followed by a reception at the residence of the bride's parents, 932 John Street.
The couple will go to housekeeping at once in a neatly furnished home at Eleventh and Central Avenue.
