John Nickleson on his motion is appointed guardian of Eliza Rebecca Nickleson, his daughter & granddaughter of Joseph K Morrell, (late of Newton, Massachusetts) deceased, who thereupon executed bond with James D Anderson his security in the sum of $350 conditioned according to law.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, John Nickleson & James D Anderson, are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the penal sum of three hundred fifty dollars, current money, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, as witness our hands and seals, this 11 day of Aug 1840.

The condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound, JOHN NICKLESON, his heirs, executors, and administrators, shall well and truly pay and deliver to Eliza Rebekka Nickleson, of whom he is appointed Guardian, all such estate as now is, or shall hereafter appear to be due from him to the said orphans when they shall attain to lawful age to demand the same, or when thereunto required by the Justices of the Campbell County Court for the time being, and also faithfully execute his office herein, in such a manner as to save harmless and indemnify the said Justices, their heirs, executors, and administrators, from all trouble and damage that about said estate may accrue, then the above obligation to be void-else to remain in full force and virtue.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, J T Hayman and Samuel Baker, are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the penal sum of four hundred dollars, current money, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, as witness our hands and seals, this 27 day of May 1844.

The condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound, J T Hayman, his heirs, executors, and administrators, shall well and truly pay and deliver to Rebecca Nickelson, infant of Jno & Eliza Nickelson, of whom he is appointed Guardian, all such estate as now is, or shall hereafter appear to be due from him to the said orphan when she shall attain to lawful age to demand the same, or when thereunto required by the Justices of the Campbell County Court for the time being, and also faithfully execute his office herein, in such a manner as to save harmless and indemnify the said Justices, their heirs, executors, and administrators, from all trouble and damage that about said estate may accrue, then the above obligation to be void-else to remain in full force and virtue.
