Elizabeth

Policemen Seither and Wormald of the Bellevue Police Force, had quite an exciting experience Saturday when they attempted to execute a warrant for the arrest of Mrs. Elizabeth Rosser. Saturday afternoon Mrs. George Mack appeared before Police Judge Burk and swore out a warrant for her arrest, claiming she struck her with a skillet and then finished up the job by beating her with a clothes prop.
The warrant was placed in the hands of Night Policemen who went to Mrs. Rosser's house to arrest her. They knocked at the door and were met by the woman with a big revolver in her hand. She told the officers she would kill the first man who attempted to enter her premises and would die before she would submit to arrest. It did not take them long to make up their minds in this case. Both are big, powerful fellows and they pounced on the woman and her gun and a few minutes afterward a weeping woman was begging Judge Burk not to lock her up.
The woman was allowed to go on her own recognizance and will have to appear before Judge Burk Monday night for trial.
