NEWPORT: MRS. HISSEM DEAD
Assistant Postmaster W J Hissem yesterday received a telegram notifying him of the death in Tyler County, West Virginia of his venerable mother, Mrs. Elizabeth H Hissem, at the advanced age of 80 years. The deceased had been residing with her daughter, Mrs. Louisa J Brown, since the death of her husband, three years ago.
Mrs. Hissem had been a lifelong resident of California Ky. and was well known in Campbell County. She was a devout church member, having been an earnest worker in the California (Ky.) M E Church. Three children survive her, Senator Hissem, Captain M L Hissem and Mrs. Brown. The funeral will take place next Tuesday, with services at the California M E Church.
