Mrs. Elizabeth J Higgin, widow of Henry Higgin, founder of Higgin
Manufacturing Co. Newport, died Wednesday at her home, 628 Nelson pl. Newport.
she was 83. Mrs. Higgin, a lifelong resident of Newport, was active in the
affairs of St Paul Episcopal Church, Newport.
One daughter, Mrs. Howard See, Atlanta; a son, Harry Higgin, Toledo; and two sisters, Miss Hannah Purser, with whom she lived and Mrs. E J Thompson, Newport and two grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 pm at the residence, with Rev H B Crewe, rector of St Paul Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
