DAYTONIAN DIES
Mother of Reporter To Be Buried Wednesday
Mrs. Elizabeth C. Carmichael, 69, mother of Wilmer Carmichael, Cincinnati Times-Star reporter, died Sunday night at the home, 1019 Fourth-ave, Dayton, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Carmichael was the widow of the late John Carmichael. She was a pioneer resident of Dayton.
She is survived by four sons, Charles, Robert and Agathan, all of Dayton, and Wilmer, Westood; five daughters, Mrs. Harry Farrar, Newport; Mrs. William Pond, Covington; Mrs. John Wolff, Mrs. Albert Campbell and Mrs. Cecil Campbell, Dayton; three sisters, Mrs. Guy Ready, Dayton; Mrs. John Miller, Newport and Mrs. Anna Ackerman, Milton, Ky; an aunt, Miss Matilda Fortriede; 36 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the home, with Rev. J. N. Ervin, pastor of the Dayton Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati. John J. Radel Co, Newport, Undertakers, are in charge of the funeral.
