Elias Thoeny, 83, former sexton of St Stephen Cemetery, died last night at his home, 186 Alexandria pike, Ft Thomas, after an illness of several months. He had been sexton of St Stephen's for 40 years, being succeeded by one of his sons. The funeral will be held Monday morning with services in the Catholic Church at Cold Spring, and the interment will be in the cemetery where he officiated for so many years.
The deceased was the father of Jack Thoeny well known member of the Boston American League ball team.
