Elias Neal, 72, for many years employed as a mail carrier between Newport and Grants Lick, died yesterday at his home at Hawthorne following a long illness. He was the father of Charles Neale, who at present has the contract for carrying mail between Newport and Grants Lick.

Mrs. Mary E Neal, 82, resident of Campbell co for many years, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James White, Licking pike, Campbell co. Mrs. Neal made her home with her daughter.
Mrs. Neal was the widow of E T Neal, Civil War veteran. She is survived by four children, Mrs. White, Edward, Ft Thomas; Mrs. Florida Martin, Bellevue; Charles, Newport, and 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at the home of Mrs. White. Burial will be at Alexandria, Ky. John J Radel Co Newport, are in charge of the funeral.
