FT THOMAS-Chaplain Edward J Vattman, United States Army, who has been in Puerto Rico on several months sick leave, will soon arrive in New York, where he will spend the remainder of his leave. Father Vattman is gratefully remembered by hundreds of sick and wounded soldiers, who will always remember his invariable kindness and solicitude for their welfare when they were in the general hospital at Ft Thomas after the campaign in Cuba in 1898.
