KILLED-Magistrate Sherman Thomas, of the Highland District in Campbell County, was informed by a telegram that his brother, Edward Thomas had been killed at East Liberty, Near Pittsburg. The dispatch did not state any of the particulars. Edward Thomas was a son of Harvey Thomas and left Newport several years ago, locating in Pittsburg where he became an influential citizen.

A telegram from Pittsburg later stated that he was killed by a traction car on Franktown Avenue and Broad Street Saturday night. He started across the street when the car struck him. The body will be brought to Ft Thomas for burial.

FT THOMAS-The news from Pittsburg of the sudden death of Edward Thomas, brother of Squire Sherman Thomas, was received here with great regret in a community where Edward was well known and held in great esteem. His relatives have the sympathy of their many friends in this sad bereavement. The funeral will take place this week at a date to be announced later.

BURIED-The funeral of Edward Thomas, who was killed by a traction car at Pittsburg, took place Wednesday afternoon, in charge of William C Betz. The services were conducted at the residence of Squire S Thomas at Ft Thomas. The burial was at Evergreen Cemetery.

NEWPORT-The remains of Ed Thomas, brother of Squire Sherman Thomas, who was killed by a trolley car near Pittsburg, arrived here yesterday and were taken in charge by Funeral Director William C Betz. The funeral will take place this afternoon, with services at Squire Thomas' residence in the Highlands. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
