DEATH
Requiem High Mass for Edward Schaffeld, 828 Fourth avenue, Dayton, will be sung at St. Bernard Church at 9 a.m. Tuesday, following prayers at his residence at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Mr. Schaffeld, who was 29, died Saturday at his home. He was a lifelong Dayton resident and prior to his recent illness was employed as a lathe hand at the American Tool Works, Cincinnati.
He leaves his
mother, Mrs. Elsie Rath Schaffeld; two brothers, Harry and Leonard Schaffeld,
both of Dayton and two sisters, Miss Helen Schaffeld, Dayton; and Mrs. Serena
Appel, Covington. The John J. Radel funeral home, Newport, is in charge of
arrangements.
