Private Edward V Douglass, Company K, Fourth Infantry, having
been tried by a general court marital, convened at the post and found guilty of
desertion, was sentenced to be dishonorably discharged, forfeiting all pay and
allowances due him and to be confined at hard labor at such post as the
reviewing authority may direct for 18 months.
The sentence will be served at Ft Sheridan but the prisoner will remain at Ft Thomas for the present.
