The Republicans of Campbell co. met this afternoon at 2 pm at Turner Hall, Newport, to select delegates to the State convention to be held at Louisville next Wednesday to nominate candidates for State Offices. Friends of Frank Moeschl, Edward Kreiger, ex-Sheriff Dan Riedel and Phil Veith were on hand in force, but trouble was avoided by the selection of William Krinn as permanent Chairman and Howard Benton as Secretary.
