Edward Joseph and Cecelia Gerner

Edward Joseph Gerner was born in Germany in March 1845 and immigrated to the United States arriving in New York Harbor on 19 Sep 1877. There he met and married Cecelia Rodriquez in 1882. They came to Cincinnati then moved to Newport by 1894. Cecelia was born 11 May 1858 in Alsace Loraine Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1884 (as listed on the 1900 census; obviously not correct). Edward died in 1908 in Newport and was buried in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wilder Ky. Cecelia died 11 Feb 1938 in Southgate and was also buried in the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wilder.
