PFC Earl Brooks, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Brooks, of 207 W
Seventh street, Newport, was wounded in action Feb 10th in the fighting in
Germany, it was learned here.
Serving with an infantry division in the First Army, he has a brother, Pfc. Herbert Lee Brooks, serving with the Army in the Southwest Pacific theater.
