Absolum Dicken Diary
A C Dicken was a Confederate Soldier in the Civil War from Campbell County. He was born 3 January 1835 in the California Ky. area to Simeon Dicken and Elizabeth Herndon. He enlisted in the Confederate Army 15 September 1862 and served with the Company D, Kentucky 4th Cavalry Regiment.
After the war he lived the rest of his life in the Carthage, Flagg Spring area where he died 20 Mar 1918 and was buried in the Flagg Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.
