David Thomas Staubach

M/Sgt. David T Staubach Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. D T Staubach, 114 Evergreen Avenue, Southgate, recently observed his second anniversary of service with the same organization at a service wing base of the Troop Carrier Forces in Europe. More than 100 men joined in the celebration. They all enlisted in the Air Force at Patterson Field in the summer of 1942 and have been with the same outfit ever since. After training in Ohio and Georgia, they went overseas more than 16 months ago.

Sgt. Staubach was formerly connected with the Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co. and jenny In. Cincinnati. He attended St Anthony High School in Bellevue; East and West High Schools, Cincinnati and Xavier University Night College, Cincinnati. He also attended the Schuster Martin School of the Drama, taking part in many amateur and semi-professional state and radio productions.

Southgate Ky. Funeral from the Muehlenkamp Funeral Home, 835 York St. Newport, Wednesday at 8:30 am. Requiem High Mass at St Teresa Church at 9 am. Friends may call after 1 pm Tuesday.
