The condition of Dave Satchwell, caretaker at the Inverness Country Club, who was burned in the fire that destroyed the clubhouse New Year's night, was yesterday reported as satisfactory at Speers Hospital. Sympathetic friends in the Highlands bean the work of taking up a collection for him, as he and his family last everything they possessed in the fire.
Allie Grey, owner of the clubhouse, who was also badly burned is getting along as well as could be expected at his home.
