Bellevue city officials and the Campbell County Red Cross Thursday were attempting to find clothing and housing facilities to rehabilitate a World War II veteran and his family of six, whose home and clothing were destroyed by fire in Bellevue early Wednesday. Dan Walters, 700 Covert Run pike, his wife and five children had taken up residence in Newport Thursday while attempting to find new quarters.

Their reconverted storage building apartment t the Bellevue address burned and caused damage of $2300, leaving them totally without home or clothing. Bellevue officials requested anyone wishing to donate clothing for the family take it to the City Building, Poplar street, Bellevue.

WALTERS-Daniel C, beloved husband of Georgia Walters (nee Frank) and devoted father of Mrs. Nalah Hammond, Mrs. Patricia Ferguson, Karen Rose, Ronald and Lawrence Walters and Robert Broadcut, and brother of Mrs. Joseph Frank, Harold and Paul Walters, died at his home, 1613 Amersterdam rd. Lockout Heights Ky. Tuesday, Nov 11. Funeral Friday, Nov 14 from the Huzenberg and Niemeyer Funeral Home, 43 W 5th st. Covington at 11 am. Interment in Highland Cemetery. Visitation 3 to 9 pm Thursday.
