Daniel Shea, Sr. 601 Patterson St, Newport, died yesterday at St Elizabeth Hospital, Covington. A lifelong resident of Newport, he was a retired cafe owner. He is survived by a son, Daniel Shea, Jr., a Newport patrolman and a step-son, Harry Knarr, Pasadena, Calif. Requiem high mass will be sung at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, following prayers at 9:30 a.m. at the Muehlenkamp, Costigan & Roll funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

A life-long resident of Newport, Mr. Shea is the father of Daniel Shea, Jr., Newport patrolman. He is a retired cafe owner.
