The funeral of Rev D B Ransey, who died suddenly at his home Fourth and Washington av. Newport, Saturday night, took place this afternoon from St Paul P E Church. The services were conducted by the rector, Rev Robert B Nelson and were largely attended.
The Confederate veterans of Campbell and Kenton Counties attended the services. Rev Ramsey served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War and later was an Episcopal minister in Alabama.
