At a Court held for Campbell County on Monday the 10th April 1797 at the
house of Jacob Fowler in the Town of Newport.
Present: Esquires

Henry Brasher
John Hall
James Miler
Ordered that John Brasher act as Clerk protempore. William Riddick produced a Commission from James Garrard Governour of this Commonwealth of Kentucky appointing him High Sheriff of this County of Campbell and thereupon the necessary Oaths were administered to him according to Law.
Ordered that Court be adjourned until to Morrow Morning 8 on the Clock. Signed Thos Kennedy

This 11th April 1797 The Court met pursuant to adjournment at the house of
Jacob Fowler in the Town of Newport.

Thomas Lindsay produced a Commission from James Garrard Governour of this Commonwealth appointing him a Justice of the Peace for this County of Campbell thereupon the necessary Oaths were administered to him according to law.
Ordered that Henry Brasher & Jacob Pyatt preside over the ensuing election for a Member to represent this County in the General Assembly.
Ordered upon the motion of William Riddick high Sheriff that Moses Scott act as Deputy Sheriff of this County he having taken the necessary Oaths according to Law.
Ordered that Court be adjourned until Court in course. Signed Henry Brasher
