At a Court held for Campbell County on Monday the 7th day of' December 1795
at the House of Jacob Fowler

On the motion of Mary Bowner widow of John Bowner who made oath according to Law and together with John Thrasher her Security entered into acknowledged their Bond in the penalty of One hundred and fifty pounds conditioned as the Law directs. Certificate is granted to her for obtaining Letters of administration on the Estate of the aforesaid John Bowner decd in due form.
Ordered that John Robertson, Matthew Corwin, Ezekiel Vanhorn & John Ducker or any three of them being first sworn before a Justice of this County do appraise in current Money the Slaves if any & personal Estate of the aforesaid John Bowner deceased and return the appraisement to the Court.
On the motion of Jane Cloud Widow of William Cloud who wade Oath according to Law and together with John Hall & Chichester Matthews her Securities who entered into & acknowledged the Bond in the penalty of Two thousand pounds conditioned as the Law directs. Certificate is granted to her for obtaining Letters of Administration on the Estate of the aforesaid William Cloud in due form.
Ordered that John Conner, John Jones, John Royal and George Corn or any three of them being first sworn before a Justice of this County do appraise in current money the Slaves if any & personal Estate of the aforesaid William Cloud deceased & return the appraisement to the Court.
John S. Wells Esq. upon producing testimony that he is qualified to practice the law upon taking the Oath of fidelity to the Commonwealth & the Oath of an Attorney is admitted to practise as an Attorney in this Court.
On the motion of Susannah Arnold widow of Elisha Arnold who made Oath according to law together with Henry Anderson & James Grimsley her Securities entered into & acknowledged the Bond in the penalty of five hundred pounds conditioned as the law directs Certificate is granted to her for obtaining Letters of Administration on the Estate of the aforesaid Elisha Arnold in due form.
Page 24-Ordered that John Jones, John Hall, Chichester Matthews & William Graves or any three of them being first sworn before a Justice of this County do appraise in current Money the Slaves if any & personal estate of the aforesaid Elisha Arnold deceased and return the Appraisement to the Court.
An Indenture of Bargain & Sale between James Moody of the one part & Joel Robinson of the other part was proved by the Oaths of Edward King and Joel Robinson Witnesses thereof.
The Persons appointed to lay off the Road from the Fork on crooked Creek to
Grassy Creek made their Report in these words "In submission to the Court of
Campbell County according to the order we have reviewed the Road from Crooked
Creek to Grassy Creek & we find that there can be a sufficient Wagon Road
without much difficulty".

On consideration whereof It is ordered that the said Road be established, that John Ewing act as Overseer of the same & that the Tithables living within three Miles of said Road from Crooked Creek down to the first Waters of Grassy Creek do attend the said Overseer & cut out the Same sufficiently large for the passage of Waggons therein.
Page 25-On the motion of John Jameson, It is ordered that a License be granted to him to Keep a Tavern in the County for one year whereupon the said John Jameson with (blank) his Security entered into and acknowledged Bond according to Law.
In the motion of James Johnston It is ordered that a License be granted to him to keep a Tavern in this County for one year the said James Johnston having with Jacob Barrickman his Security entered into & acknowledged Bond according to Law.
On Motion of Thomas Collin It is ordered that a License be granted him to keep a Tavern in this County for one year the said Thomas Collins laving with William Smith his Security entered into & acknowledged Bond According to Law.
Ordered that Court be adjourned 'till tomorrow Morning 10 on the Clock. Signed John Roberts
