"Clinton B. Holden, 87, of Dunedin died on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010. He was born in Alexandria, KY. and moved to Clearwater in 1924. He was a funeral director for over 60 years and Senior Vice President with Moss Feaster Funeral Home, a veteran of WW II serving with the Army Air Corps and played left field for the Clearwater Bombers.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, the Dunedin Country Club and a former member of Belleair Country Club. Throughout his career he was active in many organizations having served as past president of East Clearwater Rotary Club, past president of Casado Club of Clearwater and former skipper of the Privateers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Andree M.; 2 sons, Clinton B Jr. and Mark C both of Clearwater. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Cecelia Catholic Church, 820 Jasmine Way, Clearwater. The family suggests Memorial Contributions to Suncoast Hospice.
