FROZEN TO DEATH
Was Child of Campbell County Farmer
Cold Wave Sweeping Over the Northwest and Snow Falling in Many Places
Newport Ky. Nov 17-Clifford the three year old son of William Redmond, a wealthy farmer of this county, was found frozen to death at 11 o'clock tonight in a field back of Newport. The child, with two other children of greater age went hunting black haws. The Redmond child became lost in a field, and when found its mouth was filled with mud, indicating that it had died in great agony. When the body was found tonight it was frozen stiff and the Coroner says death was due to exposure. The disappearance of the child yesterday caused great excitement as it was thought he had been murdered.
