FT THOMAS-Clifford Hechinger (sic) son of Mr. and Mrs. Hechinger of Oak Street, a member of the Third Infantry Band, who has been absent at Ft Leavenworth, Kas. for several months, returned home yesterday. He was one of the class of 49 enlisted men who were recently examined at that post for appointment as Second Lieutenants in the army. Thirty-five of those have passed and will shortly receive their commissions.
Cliff's case is one of those who are awaiting a decision relative to physical examination.
