WELL KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY


Clemens Ellman, 71, died suddenly about 11 o'clock Sunday morning at his home Eighth and Monmouth Streets.  He had been ailing for some time, but was apparently well in the morning, when he attended church.

Apoplexy is given as the cause.  Deceased has been identified in business circles in Newport for many years.  A grown family of girls survive him.
