The anti-Rhinock people of Campbell County held rump conventions in both city and county. The country convention was held at Alexandria Courthouse. Resolutions were adopted instructing the delegates to vote for Judge T Hodge. One of the following delegates were chosen; Dr. C Shaw.

The Campbell co. Board of Health, comprising County Judge Moore, and Dr. Stine, Dr. Youtsey, Dr. Houston and Dr. Southgate, held a meeting this morning in Newport and discussed plans and measures to insure a pure supply of milk to residents of the county. Dr. Shaw, County Health Officer was also present and took part in the proceeding.

Dr. Clayton W Shaw, 73, Campbell county health officer, died Monday at home following an illness of several months. He lived at 19 E Main street, Alexandria Ky. Dr. Shaw with 50 years services as a practicing physician, was one of the oldest active doctors in Campbell County. He was appointed as health officer over 35 years ago.
He was born in California Ky. and graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in 1894. He also studied at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Shaw was a trustee and member of the staff of Speers Memorial Hospital and was active in the Campbell-Kenton Medical Society, of which he was a past president. Well known in Masonic circles, Dr. Shaw leaves his wife, Mrs. Fay Hill Shaw; three sons, Hill and Harold Shaw of Alexandria and Roy, who is stationed with the Navy in the North Africa; two brothers Wood Shaw of Dayton O. and Carl Shaw of Dayton Ky. and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Stillman of California Ky. and Miss Ida Shaw of Dayton, Ky.
Funeral arrangements will be in charge of Tharp & Stith, Alexandria.

Services for Dr. Clayton W Shaw, 73, will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Tharp & Stith funeral home, Alexandria, Ky. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm Tuesday. Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Eastern Star will hold services at the funeral home Wednesday night.
Dr. Shaw, Campbell county officer for the past 35 years, died at his home 19 E Main street, Alexandria, Monday. Burial wil be in Alexandria Cemetery.
