A telegram Tuesday evening from an officer at Ft D A Russell,
Wyo. to Mrs. Rosa Caplinger of the River Road, Ft Thomas, announced the death of
her husband, Private Claude Caplinger, Company E, Second Infantry of pneumonia.
Caplinger served for a long time at this post.
