I will sell my farm, consisting of fifty acres situated on the high bank, within half a mile of Licking, 18 miles from Newport, 7 miles from Alexandria, half a mile from Harrisburg, and one short mile from the Lexington and Covington Rail Road, where there will be a depot on the road leading from Grants Lick to Independence.
There is on the premises upwards of one hundred and fifty bearing apple trees and a young peach orchard of over 100 trees. There is also a good spring with cool water that never fails... Placed November 12, 1850 by James D Anderson
Newport Brewery
The subscriber wishes to notify the public and the citizens of Newport in particular that he is manufacturing as good an article of beer as any in the Western County; and being now established in Newport on Monmouth Street, near "Gallop Gap". He hopes to be liberally supported by its citizens as well as those of the surrounding country. Placed May 25, 1850 by P. Constance

Newport and Alexandria Daily Line
R S McCollaugh has bought out the stage line from Messrs DeCoursey & Pineri and will run hereafter every day; leaving Mrs. Thomas's Hotel in Alexandria every morning at 7 o'clock and return the same day; leaving Barlow Hotel at 2 o'clock pm.
