FRACTURE FATAL

Mrs. Christine Schwager Dies; Rites Set for Monday
 

Services for Mrs. Christine Schwager, 81, lifelong resident of Campbell-co., who died yesterday at her home, 53 Stewart-ave, Ft. Thomas, will be held Monday morning at the Vonderhaar & Stetter funeral home, Third and Overton streets, Newport, followed by services at the Salem M.E. Church, Newport.

Mrs. Schwager suffered a hip fracture in a fall at her home two weeks ago. She was an active worker of Salem Church, being a member of the Ladies’ Aid Society and the Eveready Bible Class.  She leaves her husband, Louis, former custodian of the Newport Post office; two sons, Linton and George; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Steinhauser, Mrs. A. R. Harris and Miss Florence Schwager, teacher in the Cote Brilliante School; a sister, Mrs. Louise Bixler, and a brother, Philip Haefner.
