The Licking Valley Christian Union, composed of the different
Christian Endeavor societies in Covington, Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, Ludlow and
other cities in Kenton and Campbell Counties, will hold a mass meeting at
California Ky. on Saturday evening, August 21.
The steamer, Levi J Workum will leave the foot of Main street, Cincinnati about 3 pm and returning will arrive at Cincinnati at 11 pm. The meetings will be held in the Christian and Methodist Churches of California at 6:30 pm. Tickets for the round trip are 35 cents and can be secured from any member of the executive Committee or from Joseph A Serena, Secretary of the Union. Supper will be served on the boat for 25 cents.
