Christian P Hobicht, (sic) 26, died Tuesday evening at his home, 116 East Fifth Street in Newport. He was employed in Erie Pa. and came home last November to bury his father. When he returned he was taken down with Brights disease and was brought to Newport where he passed away.

He was considered an artist of note and had a reputation of being on of the best lithographers in the country. He was classed as an original sketch artist, making all the original drawings. The funeral will take place from Salem M E Church.

The funeral of Christian Habicht, of Fifth Street, will take place Monday afternoon from Salem M E Church. John Habicht, brother of the deceased arrived from Canton to attend the funeral.

The funeral of Christian Halicht took place Friday afternoon with services at Salem M C Church, Rev Dr. Roeser officiating. Artist friends sent a large number of beautiful floral offerings.
