DEATH
Word was received here yesterday of the death at South Bend, Ind.
of Charles Yelton, who for many years drove the bus line between Newport and
Alexandria. He was 48years of age and grief over the death of his wife some time
ago is thought to have hastened his death.
He went to South Bend some time ago to visit his son, Elmer Yelton, who is Secretary of the YMCA there. The remains will be brought to his former home in Alexandria and the funeral will take place from there next Tuesday.
