FATAL ACCIDENT YESTERDAY-About 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, as one of the ferry boats was about to make a landing on this side of the river, a young man named Chas Brumback attempted to step on the wharf boat before the boat had touched it.
In doing this his foot missed its destination and he fell into the water and the board made its landing over him. His body was found to be entirely extinct. Dr. Thornton and another physician worked with the body for more than an hour endeavoring to recall the departed spirit.
