NEWPORT FUNERAL
The funeral of Mrs. Charlotte Davis took place yesterday afternoon from the family residence 1138 Central av. The remains were placed in the vault in Evergreen Cemetery.

NEWPORT
Mrs. George A Davis, widow of the late George A Davis, a coal
merchant, was found dead at 11 am yesterday. Coroner Digby held and inquest and
returned a verdict of death due to apoplexy.
The deceased leaves two sons, Jack and George, and three daughters, Carrie and Charlotte Davis and Mrs. R Simon. She was in her fifty-first year.
