Funeral of Charles Weigle
The funeral of Mr. Charles Weigle took place yesterday afternoon with services at Salem M C Church. Rev Roser officiated assisted by a number of other divines. The deceased was for a long time connected with the Methodist Book Concern, and a large number of his friends from Cincinnati interested in religious work were present at the obsequies.
Five sons of the deceased; Hal, Theodore, Wesley, Charles and Jay Weigle and Anton Beck jr. officiated as pall bearers. The floral offerings filled a carriage and were very beautiful. A quartet consisting of Mr. Ed Wendt, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Voige and Miss Julia Hofmeister; assisted by the church choir, rendered some fine music.
The deceased was a member of Noah's Dove Lodge at Odd fellows, which lodge attended the funeral in a body. The remains were interred at Evergreen cemetery.
