MAY LOSE HIS EYE

Ex-Policeman Charles Stemler of Newport, met with an accident Friday forenoon at the Riverside Rolling mils, Cincinnati, which may render his right eye sightless.

Stemler in some way came in contact with some molten metal, which burned the entire right side of his face. His eye was also badly burned. Stemler was taken to a surgeon in Cincinnati, where his wounds were dressed. Later he returned to his home on Ninth Street, Newport.
