Funeral services for Charles H Reed, 69 of 844 Saratoga-st. Newport, was held Friday at 3 P.M. from the John J. Radel Co. Funeral Home, 822 York-st., Newport with Rev. Frank Cooley, pastor of St. Paul Episcopal Church, Newport, officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Reed died Tuesday night at his home following a lingering illness. He had been a resident of Newport nearly all his life and for 54 years was an employee of the Donaldson Lithographing Co., Newport. Reed is survived by a sister, Miss Emma Reed, Newport. And four brothers James, Bellevue, Alfred, Newport, Albert E., Clifton and William Reed, Hollywood Cal.
