Charles L Pulsfort, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J Pulsfort, of Center street, Bellevue, has returned from Bowling Green Ky. where he attended the Blue Grass Boys State, sponsored by the American Legion of Kentucky at the Western Kentucky Teachers College, Bowling Green Ky. the week of June 8-14.

Mr. Pulsfort represented the Newport Catholic High School and was sponsored by the James Wallace Costigan Post No 11 of Newport. While at Bowling Green he received word he won the Latin and Science awards and the Eilerman trophy issued at the commencement exercises of the Newport Catholic High School where he completed his junior year.

Lt. Charles L Pulsfort, son of Frank Pulsfort, of 141 Center street, Bellevue, has been awarded an Air Medal for "meritorious achievement" at a 21st Bomber Command base on Tunisia North Africa.

PULSFORT Charles Louis Sr., 82, November 4, 2006. Beloved husband of Anna Catherine (nee Baueries) of 58 years, and devoted father of Charles Jr. (Barb) of Springfield, PA, Mark (Barbara) of Oakland, NJ, David of Kernersville, NC, Lynn (Don) Larson of Cincinnati, OH, Nancy (Mark) Juenemann of Mahopac, NY, Beth (Todd) Hoyt of West Bloomfield, MI, and Cathy (Mark) Whiteside of Kirkland, WA. Proud grandfather of Chuck and Brett Pulsfort, Jessica Pulsfort, Sean and Chad Pulsfort, Kelly, Liz and Matt Larson, Julia and Sarah Juenemann, Ryan and Paige Hoyt, and Claire and Anna Whiteside.

Charles was brother to the late Eva Schneider and Frank Pulsfort Jr., survived by Lou Arrasmith of Elsmere, Ginny Graham of Crestview, and Richard Pulsfort of Ft. Thomas. Friends and family may call from 4-7 P.M. on Tuesday, November 7th, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 Highway 42, Florence, KY. Services will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday, November 8th, at St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Rd., Edgewood, KY. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, 2201 Dixie Hwy, Ft. Mitchell, KY and with a reception at the church.

He proudly served as a 1st Lieutenant US Army during WWII, commanding 35 missions in B-17 and B-29 aircrafts. Charles graduated from University of Cincinnati in 1950 as a Chemical Engineer. His work career spanned 35 years in NJ and OH before retiring as Director of Manufacturing for International Division of American Cyanamid in 1985. He served his community in many organizations.
